Aberdeen/Endurance fill up on Chancery Lane

Aberdeen Asset Management and Endurance Land have completed the first lettings at The Cursitor Building on London’s Chancery Lane.
An undisclosed law firm has taken a 10-year lease on the 6,049 sq ft sixth floor at a rent which equates to £72 per sq ft.
“Creating a first class work environment with our development managers Endurance Land will ensure that we continue to attract good quality tenants” said Fraser Green, Asset Manager at Aberdeen.
On the ground and lower ground floor of the 65,638 sq ft development, health assessment specialist, Preventicum - London Centre of Preventive Medicine, has taken a 15-year lease on a total of 10,812 sq ft of space at an annual rent which reflects £66 per sq ft on the best office space.
Pure Sports Medicine – a sports injury and rehabilitation clinic – will occupy the retail unit on the ground and lower ground floors on a 10-year lease at a total annual rent of £150,000.
Jonathan Fletcher at Endurance Land said: “There has been a strong market response to The Cursitor Building and the rent achieved on the sixth floor letting reflects this. We are currently in discussions with a number of occupiers for the remaining space.”
Leasing agents for the offices are Farebrother (CORFAC International) and Cushman & Wakefield. Nash Bond was the joint agent with Farebrother on the letting of the ground floor retail unit to Pure Sports Medicine who were advised by CBRE.
Knight Frank acted for Preventicum, whilst Gale Priggen acted for the sixth floor tenant.
