Farebrother makes a number of strategic senior appointments
10 June 2016
We are delighted to announce a number of recent strategic appointments across our service lines, responding to the continued high demand for expert local advice in London’s centre core.
Matt Causer has joined the firm’s Leasing & Development team from Deloitte as a Partner. His London wide disposal, acquisition and high level consultancy experience will enhance the existing team, led by Jules Hind. Matt’s clients include Columbia Threadneedle, BMO Real Estate, Aberdeen Asset Management and Hill International.
Hugh Tippett joined the firm at the end of May as a specialist Lease Advisory Partner. Hugh was formally at Copping Joyce and brings with him over 30 years of Central London professional and rating experience to support and expand a team currently advising landlords and tenants across Central London and beyond on rent reviews, lease regears, renewals and valuations.
In what is considered as our most strategic move since the launch of Union Street Partners, our South Bank niche practice formed as a joint venture with Tuckerman in 2014, we have reunited with former employee, Alex Peers of Peers Partners to strengthen the firm’s Occupier Services specialism.
Alistair Subba Row, Senior Partner of Farebrother comments, “The strength and depth of our Leasing & Development team is well documented with it’s numerous successful letting campaigns. What is less known is how much we do for our occupiers throughout London and various parts of the UK. The full range of real estate advice provided by our market facing, highly experienced and now expanded occupier team, stretches from workplace consultancy, facilities management, project management, lease renewals, rent reviews and rating appeals to the acquisition of new premises fit for purpose to achieve client’s business goals.
These new appointments will strengthen our senior level team, allowing us to grow their respective business lines further, in addition to our burgeoning retail & leisure practice and asset management team where plans for expansion are also in place. The continued strength of the Centre of London market and the demand for wide ranging advice is also driving our recruitment for Partner level; Lease Advisory & Investment surveyors.”
