Handing over £60,000 to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
30 November 2018
Farebrother were thrilled to present a cheque for £60,000 to Professor Ian Smith, who accepted it on behalf of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Thanks to all of Farebrother's generous clients and friends who supported our South Downs Way Walk, we raised £30,000. In addition to this, the London West End Office Agents Society and City Agents Club also kindly supported our chosen charity by donating half of the proceeds from their recent White Collar Boxing event at the O2, another £30,000.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. They ensure their nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, they never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
Tammy Savill from the charity commented: "The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity is so grateful to Farebrother for their amazing fundraising. Without this support we couldn’t continue to invest in the latest innovations and improve the lives of our patients. You are helping to make a difference to the lives of cancer patients everywhere. Thank you for being fantastic fundraisers."
